Food for Thought

I of course mean this literally. In the spirit of post-Halloween-candy-induced-comas, let’s consider food for the urban fantasy diet. In a genre chock full of vampires, zombies, demons, werewolves, and various other assorted supernatural folk, what would you serve up to such discerning guests for dinner? What sort of meal would just scream “urban fantasy”?  Let’s make it a lovely five-course meal: appetizer, salad, entree1, entree2, and dessert. For example, is your steak going to be well done? I hardly think so. Better be damn well bloody or your UF customer is likely to be displeased. Anyway, you get the idea, and I know everyone out there loves talking about food. So, what would make for a fabulous meal?

  1. Haha.

Bread and trio of dips for appetizer. The dips being an assortment of blood, brain matter (pickled and not pickled) and perhaps a bit of fresh pate from various origins. Also, some sort of bloody cocktail laced with the auric energy of virgin priestesses, sure to be a hit with demonic types…

I should stop thinking about this now, shouldn’t I?
